So What is Silent Hill Experienced?

Silent Hill Experienced isa fan made internet video show featuring the latest news on everything related to Konami’s survival horror franchise, Silent Hill! Everything from Reviews, Podcasts and just fun Silent Hill videos. We capture the fans attention as well as those who are involved in the Silent Hill projects and bring a bigger connection to the franchise and its followers.

  • First SH game: Silent Hill (1999)
  • Fav SH: Silent Hill 2
  • Why: At first I was not a Silent Hill fan because I was so new to how the controls where, and that threw me off. But when 2 came out I was amazed on how beautiful it looked and I had to play it. Only at the time I still only had my PSone. So I rented Silent Hill again and went threw the entire game in one night, I could not put the controller down!

  • Least Fav Monster: Walter’s Victims (Ghosts)
  • Fav OST Track: There is no way I could answer that!
  • Did you like the film?: I liked it in a respect of “Silent Hill’s Greatest Hits” and how it brought people to the movie and grabbed them to make them want to play the game. If I had it my way I still think they should make a “Silent Hill” movie just for the fans.
  • Scariest SH Moment: SH4 when you are in your room and there where bloody footsteps on the floor and they where still walking. Then again it did not help that I was playing it in a house that was haunted either.

  • Fav SH: it’s a tie between Silent Hill and Silent Hill 2
  • Why: Silent hill was the first game I played. I loved the retro look and feel of the town and all the characters. I also really love two for its haunting music and story. I have fond feelings for both so I can’t decide!

  • Did you like the film?: Yes I loved the movie for its monster designs and scenery. I just wish the story stuck closer to the original game.
  • Scariest SH Moment: When I realize I left Eileen a couple rooms behind me!

Destiny – S.H.E. co-host and iTunes guru!

  • First SH game: Silent Hill, played in 2001
  • Fav SH: Silent Hill 3
  • Why: The character and plot are very well thought-out. The graphics are stellar, and used to great effect to flesh out the world of Silent Hill. Fights require careful planning, and the gameplay never gets stale. The strong female lead, improved combat controls, smooth graphics, and tie-in to the original game make this one my favorite. SH2 ran a very close second for its haunting story and characters.
  • Fav character:Heather Mason from both SH3 and Shattered Memories
  • Least Fav character:Walter Sullivan
  • Fav Monster:Valtiel
  • Least Fav Monster:Lying Figures
  • Fav OST Track: Not Tomorrow (Lisa’s Song). Very, very close second is You’re Not Here.
  • Did you like the film?: Yes, as a film based on the concept of Silent Hill. The camera angles in some places are absolutely astonishing, and the graphics bring the world to life. I was not too happy that the lead was changed from Harry Mason, but the team did what they felt was necessary to make a coherent movie. I feel that it is good, but not stellar. It could have been improved with a longer run time and more thought to the story line. I will never forgive anyone if they do this to the film adaptation of SH3, though..
  • Scariest SH Moment: Silent Hill 2 Labyrinth. Why hello there, Mr. Pyramid.
